Stay in this about 70% of the game and just hot route for adjustments needed during the game. Can’t beat the coverage. One of the best defenses to build a blitz package from. You can go to unbelievable heat, all the way to a *** defense without calling another play and be safe. You can actually sit and read from this play. I will often just do the following and get great results vs run or pass.
This first tip takes no adjustments at all and you can use it with any team. In the video below, we demonstrate a consistant run that gets you positive yardage with big play potential. This play is by no means a gamebreaker. It is just a play that works well that you can mix in with a scheme that you already have.
The outside DB’s do not move when the defense is in zone coverage, but you still can make your reads with every route. The outside receivers are easy to user catch against zone, and the under neath routes work also. However, when the defense is in zone, I recommend using the DBL WR Shake setup from this formation as it is one of the absolute best zone beaters in the game.
Speed is the name of the game when running the Strong Close formation. You want as much speed on the field as possible, especially at both outside receivers and the full back positions. A lot of players will audible down from 4 WR formations to get a ton of speed on the field.
Madden NFL 11 makes playing defense a chore mainly because offense is so overpowered this year. I have tested out hundreds of different play combination and have yet to find a set of plays that stop all offense. Such a thing no longer exists. What is affective this year is disguising your defense and mixing it up constantly. In this Madden NFL 11 defensive guide, I will go through what plays to call based off of what your opponent is throwing at you on offense.
Some of the Madden Moments in Madden NFL 11 are pretty easy. Not this one. Nevermore is one of the games hardest Madden Moments, and careful strategy is required to beat it. This video will show you how to win it as quickly and easily as possible, getting you one step close to finishing the Madden Moments.
i also struggled, but moving down to all pro for a week helped alot… it just lets u get used to the new d-pad. i didn’t have a big problen defending the hand-off trough the middle, but i struggled like crazy with the pitch to the outside…. it felt like every o-line was just stronger and better then mine. but then i figured out that putting ur DE’s on the delayed blitz to the outside and putting one of ur MLB’s on the spy helps alot. im not shure if that part of about the DE’s is called a delayed blitz, but it’s where u make them strafe to the outside and not let them take direct contact with the o-line, coz u will get pushed over almost every time. but wen u do that, make sure u take control of ur DT, and hopefully he is strong enough to break the block if they go withe the hand-off.
